Plymouth was built about 1924, well built with a large attic that was very tough to access. Adding a large dormer and opening the stairway created a huge master bedroom with walk-in closet and office type area. The front porch had previously been enclosed but the door location was placed directly at the nose of the top step making entry to the property very awkward. Recessing the new door into the porch space by just a foot solved the problem and added interest. The kitchen had been renovated in the 60s we think removing molding and adding paneling and its associated trims. We recreated the original molding and headers for the four openings and returned the kitchen back to the homes character.
